Yllana Marie Aduana is set to represent Siniloan, Laguna at the highly anticipated Miss Universe Philippines 2025 competition.
The former Miss Earth Air 2023 winner was officially introduced as a delegate on Monday evening during a special event held at the Santa Rosa City Auditorium. Her announcement comes after weeks of speculation about her potential participation in the national pageant.
A Queen with Purpose and Passion
When asked why she deserves the crown, Yllana delivered a compelling response, emphasizing her passion, experience, and deep connection with her country:
“I believe I deserve to be the next Miss Universe Philippines because I am obsessed. I am obsessed with infinite possibilities and really excelling in all of those. And I feel like at this choice point, I have this equanimity that is really at its peak, and I’ve never been so level-headed. I am ready to take all the challenges of being Miss Universe Philippines.”
She also highlighted her extensive travels across all 17 regions of the Philippines, which have allowed her to understand and appreciate the country’s diverse cultures and people.
“I love the people, and the overflowing love that I have within me makes me an effectual leader and an effectual spokesperson. To be Miss Universe Philippines is to be that, even as a regular being.”
A Strong Contender for the Crown
Yllana brings a wealth of pageant experience to the competition. She previously represented the Philippines in Miss Earth 2023, where she finished as Miss Earth Air (1st Runner-up). She also excelled in various segments, placing in the Top 12 of the National Costume Competition and winning the Best Bikini Award.
Beyond Beauty: Advocate for Education
Apart from her achievements in pageantry, Yllana is a licensed medical laboratory scientist and a dedicated advocate for education. She founded Edukasyon for Every Juan, a non-profit organization that promotes inclusive quality education by providing free learning materials and activities to children and students.
Road to Miss Universe Philippines 2025
Alongside Yllana, two other delegates from Laguna—Eloisa Jauod (San Pedro) and Rendelle Ann Caraig (Los Baños)—were also introduced as candidates.
As she steps onto the national stage, Yllana Aduana is expected to be one of the strongest contenders for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 title, bringing with her a powerful combination of intelligence, advocacy, and experience.
